Vintage 1930's Bohemian Czech coloured glass brooch. This stunning brooch features claw set amber, green, pink and blue coloured glass gemstones set in a silver tone setting. The stone setting is open allowing the light to pass through.

Bohemia played an important role in costume jewellery. Bohemian costume jewellers pioneered cut-glass imitation gemstones and pearls. Bohemia gemstones where such good quality they rivalled beads produced in Venice during the 1920s.

The brooch measures 3cm / 1.2" in length and 2.4cm / 0.9" in width.

The brooch is in excellent vintage condition.
